Most of my shirts I got from a good Italian friend who has several personal contacts to players, kit workers and club officials within Italy. But quite a few shirts I was able to get through many contacts to fellow soccer shirt collectors. Thanks to all of them who I had the pleasure to deal with in the past and who contibuted their part to my collection.
Almost half of the shirts I have are of AC Milan, my favourite club team of the late 80's and early 90's - especially due to the "dutch connection" around Marco Van Basten, Frank Rijkaard and Ruud Gullit. But there were other players as well that I loved to see - such as Franco Baresi, Paolo Maldini, Roberto Donadoni or Demetrio Albertini.
Another big part of my collection contains several Italian Serie A clubs - such as Juventus, Inter Milan, SSC Napoli, AS Roma, SS Lazio and AC Parma.
Of course, there are other clubs as well which I was able to obtain during the past years: CF Barcelona, Real Madrid, Ajax Amsterdam, Arsenal London, Manchester United and Bayern Munich.
Further, a certain number of various European national team shirts can't be missed, of course. I mainly put my attention to teams like Holland, Italy and England.
Even though I don't have many connections within Switzerland, I try to obtain any Swiss club shirt I can, preferably of the 70's, 80's and 90's.

There is also a certain range of Swiss national team shirts in my collection, from the 70's until today - a must for a Swiss collector, of course. Not to mention that I'm proud having been able to get as well the storic World Cup 94 and EURO 96 shirts. What I couldn't get until now is neither the World Cup 2006 shirt nor the recent EURO 2008 shirt. Patience!
Last but not least, my collection wouldn't be complete without the shirts of the two most famouns South American teams: Brazil and Argentina, as well mainly of the 70's and 80's, but also some newer ones.
After the end of the "dutch era" there came a new generation, with other great players like Dejan Savicevic, Zvonimir Boban, Leonardo, Andriy Shevchenko, Andrea Pirlo, Rino Gattuso ... and still Paolo Maldini.
